I just saw the film. I largely agree with you: not perfect, but pretty damn good. I would have liked to learn more about the aliens. When I saw "Funny People" and "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard", I saw a trailer for the movie "Gamer", the latest entry in the "death game for convicted felons" that started with "Rollerball", "Death Race 2000", and "The Running Man". The subtype is interesting, but do we really need to see the same movie that has been made since 1975?
