Impressions: Wolfenstein
Here are the first 30 minutes of the game, heavily edited and spliced into a ten minute video. Have any you readers gotten a look at Wolfenstein? What are your thoughts on the game so far? Here’s a lazy bulleted list of what I got from my short playthrough.
- Super violent, this game is reaching Solider of Fortune 2 territory in terms of graphic content. Hey, I ain’t complaining!
- Dosen’t bother with long introductions, I was shooting guys within five minutes of pressing start
- Semi-Open world shows promise, interested to see how its used in the rest of the game
- Upgrading black market system looks like something I’ll get addicted to, and… ACHIEVEMENTS!
- On the easy side (see: me meleeing everyone in the video) hopefully it picks up
- Rifling enemies isn’t nearly as satisfying as it should be
- Paranormal aspects of the game are very enticing
Nothing bad so far, but again, I’ve only played an hour so far. Tell me what you guys think of the game and the video!
